We’re growing fast and looking for a Regional Sales Manager to help us grow and maintain agency partnerships in key markets across the country.
The Role
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a territory owner responsible for driving submission growth and deepening agency engagement. This role consolidates the responsibilities of both Agency Sales Managers (ASMs) and Agency Development Managers (ADMs), creating a unified approach to activating, managing, and scaling agency partnerships.
Each RSM is empowered to run their territory like a business. The goals are simple: grow submissions and keep engagement high. How that happens is up to you. This is a high-trust, high-accountability role that rewards creativity, hustle, and results.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Production: Build and execute strategies to grow submission volume across new and established agencies.
- Own Agency Relationships: Lead onboarding, activation, and long-term growth. Serve as the main point of contact.
- Strategic Check-Ins: Run structured performance conversations using Rainbow tools (Hex, HubSpot, Admin).
- Field Leadership: Represent Rainbow at industry events, agency offices, and roadshows within your territory.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with underwriting, operations, and marketing to advance deals and support partners.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years in commercial insurance—carrier, wholesaler, or agency side—with a track record of growing accounts or territories
- Experience working with independent agents, especially in niche or specialty markets
- Comfortable traveling frequently within your territory to lead in-person meetings and represent Rainbow at events
- Strong communicator who can lead strategic check-ins, deliver insights, and deepen relationships
- Creative, resourceful, and energized by building something new in a high-trust, high-accountability environment
