Why we won
Insured operates a traditional Texas style Ice House. They had spent several years in the E&S market because they had 40% alcohol sales. They had also been turned down by several carriers because they had a playground, a slip and fall claim, and a large outdoor television projector. We were able to get an exception based on their superior dedication to risk management and matching risk with rate to provide them with higher levels of coverage for a similar premium to what they had in the E&S market.
