Rainbow has officially launched our Restaurant BOP (Business Owner’s Policy) program in New York in partnership with a select group of agency partners. 🚀 What’s new at Rainbow: Clearance, Onboarding, and Billing Upgrades

We’re always working to make Rainbow easier, faster, and more rewarding to use. This quarter, we’ve rolled out several improvements designed to save time, reduce friction, and help you win (and keep) more business. Here's what’s new:

1. 🔒 Clearance is live — and it's protecting your book

The first agent to submit an application for a restaurant now gets exclusive quoting rights.
Why it matters: No more competing quotes from other agencies for the same account. That means less confusion for your insureds and more confidence that your submission counts. Clearance currently applies to new single-location applications.
What to do: Just submit your application like normal — if someone else has already submitted for that location, you’ll be notified and referred to underwriting.
👉The quote is eligible for 90 days, so login to get your renewals on the books.

2. 💳 Self-serve billing just got smarter

We rolled out a new Billing & Receipts tab and a redesigned payment modal for missed payments. Now, agents and insureds can:

• Proactively update the payment method on file directly from the tab
• Resolve failed charges by clicking View & Pay Now to open the modal — and retry the charge or enter a new method

 Why it matters: Failed payments are a common reason for cancellations. With these new tools, your clients can stay on track — and you can spend less time chasing down fixes.
What to do:

• To update the payment method: Go to the Billing & Receipts tab on any policy
• To resolve a failed charge: Click View & Pay Now to open the modal and complete the payment

3. ⚡ Faster, smoother agent onboarding

We know you already have a Rainbow appointment, so this is for new agents. We heard that after sign up, you want to start quoting immediately - we made that possible!
Why it matters: New agents do not need to wait for appointment docs to start selling. The system walks new agents through setup, and they can come back later to upload paperwork when it’s time to bind.
What to do: Tell your friends! We have a new referral system where every time you refer another agent to Rainbow and they bind their first policy, you’ll both earn $150. Be sure to sign up for your unique link here.

Looking ahead: Multi-location quoting

Looking ahead, we’ll be rolling out multi-location quoting, letting you quote and bind up to 10 locations in one submission with faster turnaround and less back-and-forth. Stay tuned for more information when this is live!
