The Role
The RSM is a territory owner. You're responsible for growing submissions and deepening agency engagement in your market. This role owns the full agency lifecycle, from activation through long-term growth, as the single point of contact for your agencies.
You'll run your territory like a business. The goals are simple: grow submissions, keep agency engagement high. How you get there is up to you. This is a high-trust, high-accountability seat that rewards creativity, hustle, and results.
- Reports to: EVP of Sales
- Travel: Regular travel within your territory
What You'll Do
- Drive production. Build and execute strategies to grow submission volume across new and established agencies.
- Own agency relationships. Lead onboarding, activation, and long-term growth as the main point of contact.
- Run strategic check-ins. Use Rainbow's intuitive tech stack to lead structured performance conversations grounded in data.
- Show up in the field. Represent Rainbow at industry events, in agency offices, and on roadshows across your territory.
- Pull the right levers internally. Partner with underwriting, service, and marketing to move deals forward and back your partners up.
What You Bring
- 3+ years in commercial insurance — carrier, wholesaler, or agency side — with a track record of growing accounts or territories
- Experience working with independent agents, especially in niche or specialty markets
- Comfort traveling regularly to lead in-person meetings and rep Rainbow at events
- A strong communicator who can lead strategic conversations, deliver insights, and deepen relationships
- Creative, resourceful, and energized by building something new in a high-trust, high-accountability environment
